About Us

As a lifelong resident of the State College area, Jason Kunkle was involved with several community park tree planting projects that stimulated his interest in landscaping. While attending Penn State University, he began his landscape career in 2006 by working during the summers and in between classes. Jason graduated from the Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Contracting & Design in 2008. After graduation he worked full time for a local company as the lead project sales & designer until 2014.

After learning and mastering all the skills needed to do landscaping & designing in the past years through previous employers, he decided to to take the leap and start his own company. GreenStar Landscaping was founded by Jason Kunkle in 2013.

Jason  has a great vision with turning your dream landscape into reality. He works hard to make sure that he and his team are growing each week to excel at every job. His greatest skill set is understanding the customer's vision and creating a landscape that the customers will love for years to come.

 

Since the beginning,GreenStar Landscaping has built strong customer relationships and service. Quality and loyalty are top priorities in the business. We provide free estimates and a detailed outline. Design can be created and are an upfront cost of the client prior to receiving and reviewing with Jason.
